Sonny Garrish, Nashville's King of Steel. Garrish began playing steel by age 15 when he joined his father's band. While still in high school, he got a job with Bill Anderson's band in Nashville, which later led to Garrish's first session work and for several years he slowly built a name for himself as a session player. In 1976, Garrish got his first big break while playing on an Eddie Rabbitt session that later turned into a mega hit. By 1980, he had become the most sought out steel player in Nashville turning out hit record after hit record for the likes of Glen Campbell, Billy Ray Cyrus, B.B. King and a whole horde of others. Today, Sonny Garrish remains Nashville's first call steel player. We are proud to offer his unmatched talent to our artists.
